- negotiations are on going to remove this web site,  Michael you offered to return the deposits when this web site was removed.  It was removed for 30 days and the deposits did not show up.  Now this web site is back online waiting for the deposits.

This lovely looking building has been at the east end of Clarkson Village for many years now.

Local businesses, residents and politicians would tell you this is a problem.

Now with the adjacent property for sale, will the new owners tear it down?

What if the new owners of the property are the same owners of the old plastic

wrapped building (Michael Moldenhauer).

Will this building remain in the current state as it has for years with the whole

Clarkson Manor Inc. property also highly leveraged remain vacant?

Hopefully something will happen to improve the beauty of the Clarkson Village.

1575 Lakeshore West, Mississauga ON

was originally part of the Clarkson Manor Project of Moldenhauer Lifestyles - controlled by Michael Moldenhauer.

This property is for sale.

It is next door to a park, Birchwood Park, previously a dump site.

This site is a known brownfield - with known leachatte according to the Region of Peel.

The 'brownfield' designation comes from the property's history.

Back in the 1960's the property was used by Ontario Hydro to dump

the ash from the bottom of the furnaces at the Lakeview Generating plant

in the Cawthra area.

The ash, known as 'Fly Ash', was freely dumped without record,

all over that site and surrounding area, according to the region's report

and folklore.

The site at that time was an old worked out gravel pit owned by

a local business person, Trenwill.

Time moved on and the City of Mississauga covered the dump with

top soil and planted grass.

Methane gas is produced from this type of situation by water seeping

into the fly ash, then the process to create methan gas is started.

Where the gas goes and how it effects building development is

not published for this site yet.

Michael Moldenhauer (Mississauga) - and our story

My wife and I put down our good money for enhancements to our town house, yet to be built.  The project was canceled by the builder, Moldenhauer Lifestyles - Clarkson Manor Inc. - Michael Moldenhauer.

Then we started to try and get our deposits back.

This was a horror story.

First he would not return the deposits in trust.  Tarion Corporation eventually got this done, so we recovered the larger deposit.

Then we attempted to get the deposits for the pot lights, patio deck, back door and wine cellar.

He has told me under no uncertain terms - 'Dan, you must pay for the actions you have taken.  You will never get that money, instead you will have to pay me'.

I really don't get this.  How could some one take money as a deposit for development of your house, and the things to make it a great home, cancel the project and then not return the monies.

There are always two sides to the story.  Before you put a deposit down on anything, please ask Michael Moldenhauer about the story with Dan and Tammy Davis.

If you want more details and other versions, ask the other owners of the same town house complex what happened to them.  Ask the city building department - John Hardcastle what happened.  Ask Pat Mullin, the ward 2 councillor.

Most importantly, ask yourself how to get your deposit back, if the builder refuses to give it back and yet does not deliver anything and cancels the project.  Be very detailed - lawyers and court did not effectively work - it would have consumed the deposit and the damages would have been 'behind' the millions of dollars of judgements against the property from others yet owed their monies or deposits.
